Records of first sightings of frog spawn vary across the county, with spawn being seen in late January at Four Roads, early February in Llanedi and late February in Brechfa. Toads were seen gathering in and around ponds in February in Llanedi and March in Brechfa. Any records of frog spawn or toad observations or any amphibian or reptile sightings in the county would be most welcome (date and grid reference please).
