The Woodland Trust in Carmarthenshire PDF Print E-mail

We have twelve woodlands in Carmarthenshire which are open to the public free of charge at all times. The range from a spectacular 125 acre woodland and meadow site called Greencastle Woods a few miles outside Carmarthen in the road to Llansteffan to seven acre new but already well established new woodland planted for the millennium near Llanboidy.

  • Lon y Coed – Felindre, Llansadwrn
  • St Martin's Wood – Laugharne
  • Vicarage Wood – Gelli Aur

There is a regular volunteer group based at Greencastle Woods which meets every fortnight and carries out footpath and habitat work at several different sites. New members are always welcome.
